MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES

Choose the level that's right for you:

FELLOW MEMBER

An individual who is a Fellow Member of AAPA and practices and/or resides in the State of Colorado. $135/year

AFFILIATE MEMBER

An individual who is NOT a current Fellow Member of AAPA but practices and/or resides in the State of Colorado. $135/year

ASSOCIATE MEMBER

An individual involved in the healthcare industry, organizations that employ PAs, representative of businesses engaged in selling of products or services to PAs, and those who are ineligible for other categories and wish to associate with the Academy.  $135/year

GRADUATE MEMBER

An individual who joins (or renews membership with) CAPA in the same year he or she graduates from a ARC-PA approved PA training program. $65/year

PHYSICIAN MEMBER

An individual who is a licensed physician who desires to associate with the Academy. $135/year

PRE PA MEMBER

Students interested in becoming PAs, not yet in PA School.  $30/year

STUDENT MEMBER

An individual who is enrolled in an ARC-PA accredited program. Membership is good for the entirety of PA school enrollment. $50/one time fee

SUPPORTING MEMBER

An individual who resides out of state, is a physician assistant who may be a fellow member of the AAPA or their respective constituent organization. $135/year

SUSTAINING MEMBER

An individual who previously would have qualified for membership but has chosen not to actively practice in the profession and opts to be classified as a Sustaining Member. $135/year

PROSPECTIVE PA MEMBER

An individual who is interested in attending PA school, but has not yet matriculated into an ARC-PA accredited PA program. $30/year

ADVOCACY

Do you wonder how laws are made that determine your clinical scope of practice? CAPA works with Colorado legislators on behalf of PAs in the state to address PA specific issues and improve scope of practice. Your membership supports these efforts to help PAs to practice at the top of their training, provide quality healthcare, and increase patient access to care in Colorado.

CME HOURS

Where can you find access to local, high-quality Category I CME hours? CAPA offers discounted registration to CAPA Members to the annual Winter CME meeting and PA Week Professional Day. Fulfill your CME requirements at a discount by joining CAPA and taking advantage of these opportunities!

JOB OPPORTUNITIES AND NETWORKING

The CAPA Career Center maintains a job bank that gives you access to available PA positions in the state, as well as an opportunity to post your resume.
