CAPA Legislative Update Town Hall

CAPA is sponsoring legislation for the 2021 Colorado Legislative session – RIGHT NOW – to modernize PA practice laws in Colorado. CAPA is working with the AAPA, our lobbyist, Colorado stakeholders and legislators to update the Medical Practice Act. Our aim is to replace requirements for formal supervision for all PAs with a period of collaboration for new graduates and those who change specialties. The bill also allows PAs to receive direct payment from private and public insurers.
