Students

Whether you’re a Pre-PA just starting your journey or a current student diving into clinicals, this page is your go-to for events, leadership opportunities, scholarships, and more. We’re proud to support Colorado’s future PAs every step of the way.

Don’t miss the highlight of the year—Colorado PA students representing their schools at the 2025 AAPA Conference, hosted right here in Colorado!

Student Lecture Series

The student lecture series is put on twice each semester by the Student Affairs Committee with virtual lectures featuring practicing PAs and experts covering high-yield topics tailored to PA student needs. Past sessions have included a surgical PA’s guide to working in the OR. This year's upcoming topics may include OB, hematology, antibiotics, and global medical outreach. Check out the previous lectures here

Student Events

Student events happen all year long—don’t miss out!

From the Student Lecture Series and Pre-PA Q&As to the Student Corner at the CAPA Conference, Challenge Bowl, statewide networking events, and upcoming volunteer opportunities—CAPA offers plenty of ways to stay engaged, learn new things, and connect with fellow students and professionals.

Keep an eye on the events page and follow @colorado_pas on Instagram for the latest updates!

Congratulations to The Folley Fathers, our 2025 Challenge Bowl Champions from CMU!

Student Resources

Our Student Resources page includes information on student leadership opportunities, scholarships, and more to help you get the most out of your time in PA school. We’re continuing to add helpful content—so check back often for new updates!

Student Representatives

CAPA Student Representatives are elected by their respective classmates, and are members of the CAPA Student Affairs Committee and non-voting members of the CAPA Board of Directors. Student Representatives act as liaisons between their PA programs and CAPA. They help organize student events, share updates, and promote professional involvement.
