CAPA is sponsoring legislation for the 2022 Colorado Legislative session to modernize PA practice laws in Colorado, HB22-1095, Physician Assistant Collaboration Requirements. CAPA is working with the AAPA, our lobbyist, Colorado stakeholders and legislators to update the Medical Practice Act. Our aim is to replace requirements for formal supervision for all PAs with a period of collaboration for new graduates and those who change specialties. This allows these important decisions to be made at the practice level.
Please join us Thursday, February 17th at 7:00pm to learn more about this legislation and how you can help advocate for the PA profession in Colorado. This is an important and exciting time to be a PA! CAPA looks forward to working with all Colorado PAs in this initiative.
