The Create Progressive Work Environments for PAs award was presented to the Colorado Academy of PAs in May 2021 during the AAPA Annual Conference. CAPA developed and implemented a virtual grassroots training program that targeted both PAs across the state as well as legislators. This approach garnered support for CAPA’s 2021 OTP bill in the upcoming legislative session, and over 40 PAs, including CAPA members in rural areas, signed up.
AAPA’s Outreach and Advocacy Awards are presented each year to recognize constituent organizations (COs) for their outstanding programs, projects and initiatives. Congratulations to CAPA for their extraordinary work!
